Financial Advisor Assistant

Elevation Financial Group has an opportunity for an energetic self-starter looking to further their career in the finance industry. The Financial Advisor Assistant will be working with a team that is constantly striving to create the best client experience. They will have the opportunity to learn from an experienced CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. The assistant will be learning about all aspects of the position and be able to grow and advance their career.

Serving as the main client contact for the practice, they are responsible for handling all incoming client calls, scheduling  appointments and managing Deborah’s calendar for smooth flow of business. They will also prepare documents and files for upcoming client appointments, and create service and transaction paperwork. The administrative assistant plays a key role in initiating, developing and maintaining a good relationship with the client!

This is a full time position with benefits. Competitive pay based upon experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of Customer Relations Experience in an office (Administrator, Client Service Representative, etc)
  • Advanced technology skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication

Preferred:

  • Experience using a CRM (Salesforce, Redtail, etc)
  • Experience managing a supervisor's calendar
  • Experience in the financial industry
  • College degree

Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients in-person or by phone in a friendly, welcoming manner
  • Document and relay phone messages in a timely manner
  • Schedule meetings and manage supervisor's calendar
  • Attend and assist with event planning
  • Meeting preparation
  • Handle office tasks such as filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies
  • Ensure efficient operation of the office

Transaction Coordinator

The transaction coordinator is unlicensed and shall be responsible for handling all service and transaction work for our clients. They work closely with each member of the team, keeping everyone informed from beginning to end of each project.  The transaction coordinator plays a key role in ensuring that business is accomplished smoothly, efficiently and in a timely manner. The transaction coordinator also strives to develop deeper relationships with clients through servicing and plan work.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field
  • Advanced technology skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication

Preferred:

  • Experience in the financial industry
  • College degree

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare service and new account transactions for meetings
  • Handle incoming requests for redemptions/ AIS/ FWS, prepare for submission 
  • Track transactions from inception to completion
  • Research & prepare insurance quotes
  • Handle data entry for financial plans
  • Troubleshoot client technical issues (e.g. WealthLink login)
  • Prepare and execute client events with other team members
